For the second consecutive night, Cubans took to the streets to protest in Havana and other parts of the island.
The protesters shouted slogans such as: “We don’t want electricity, we want freedom.” Besides complaints about power outages, the protests reflect the growing rejection of the regime amid a backdrop of deterioration and collapse of public services in Cuba.
